What does this mean? ( Postage people who work for mail or knows)?

January 8th, 2009 mike
  • What does this mean? "Make sure you provide the proper postage for international mail" Does this mean proper Stamp (Postage Stamps?)
or something else tell me what it means? Please and thank you!

  • It means that most people think just 1 US stamp is enough for mail going out of the country.

Even a letter to Canada is almost twice as much as a letter that stays in the country.

  • Yes, it just means make sure you fork over enough money (or stamps). Many people do not realize, even to Canada costs more than within the USA. Also, all countries have specific rate tables, so you may want to go to usps.com to make sure of the cost. I send stuff overseas and your best bet is to take it to the post office and have them weigh it and take your money. If it gets deep into their system before they realize it needs more postage, it can take weeks to be returned to you.
