Advice required re; Bali?

January 8th, 2009 jack
  • Am travelling to Bali in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone is concerned about being there if they announce an execution date for the Bali Bombers?

  • Probably hear more about that trash here in Australia than you do in Bali. Don't worry all will be fine, if anyone asks you, just agree with governmental/ legal systems. Tell them Bali the best.

  • bali is safe, no need to worry. do not forget to see Barong dance, or if you lucky you can watch legong karang asem. it's beautiful.

  • No- there is nothing to worry about. it is a really safe place generally, and pople are extremely friendly there. they understand you are not involved in that, and if they did, i think most locals would agree that it is justice, that needs to be served- blainese died too! It is fine- I love Bali, and I did not feel unsafe once. Just keep your eyes peeled and listen to the news and what people say. Have fun! :)

  • I am traveling to Bali on the 18th Oct and having been there for both bombings will take a bit of extra care if they execute the bombers. The Balinese wont want trouble and am sure their security forces will be on alert for any trouble. There is a lot of security in place at nightclubs hotels etc now. Just keep your wits about you and have a great time. It is a great a place.

  • I went to Bali many times, and I feel safe when I was in Bali, because the resident is friendly, and there are many police over there, so don't worry about execution date for Bali Bombers, and enjoy your trip
